Ok fitted new part today and still nothing !!!!!!!! Car is cranking but not firing up. No dash lights on , im guessing no fuel pump , no electric windows. Any ideas guys before I fix it with a gallon of petrol :lol Brian

Finally had time to strip my ignition to try and sort my starting problem and found the metal innards have become detached. Has anyone got a picture or can explain how it goes back together ? Thanks Brian

I think they can only go that far because the bit for the rear wheel is in the way

Open k&n in the engine bay will suck hot air . Go up a hill and the engine will struggle and get even hotter , vicious circle !! Putting it in an air box will allow colder air to be directed to the filter. Happened with mine , only time the car has ever overheated was with the k&n open , never...

Put your k&n in an airbox if it's not already. Brian

You cut all the windows in reverse on the outside first anyway so all the fiddly stuff is easy then just apply on the inside.

Mine hasn't and I done it 14 years ago :lol
