    What tyres?

I've had Grabber AT2's on it for the last 4 years. Fronts not bad but rears V low, got about 60k out of them so pleased with that, but they're very noisy on the road and give a pretty lumpy drive. Ecellent off road, but not suitable for the use the car now gets. Will look into some of the...

    What tyres?

Hi, looking some advice. My wife drive the T2 nowadays, we live out in the country were the roads are pretty poor and badly surfaced. We get quite a bit of local flooding and in snow we regularly (well, the neighbors ;-) ) get snowed in. My wifes driving would consist of the local roads but...

Rear lights not working, but can't find fuse!

Found them! Mental note to self: Lift bonnet before asking for help ;-)

Rear lights not working, but can't find fuse!

Hi, the rear lights have packed up on our 03 T2. The rear lights are the ones in the bumper right? Not the pillars? Anyway, first thing is to check the fuse, but I can't find it! In the fuse box under the steering wheel there is no individual fuse marked up as being for the rear lights. Or...

    Is Bluebull still about?

Least I think that was his log in. Lives in NI, drove a tricked out blue T2 up on the north coast but then has problems with a failed MOT. Is he still here?

    PSI Powerbox

You will have used less, I meant to say more MPG not MPH, obviously you get more MPH, but fuel econ goes up too. My Nav is very good for MPG, average 32 driving it normally, and it's all country lanes and town. Last weekend we took the Nav to our holiday home, I worked it out it used 20 litres...

    PSI Powerbox

I've a PSI on our T2. Got it and a K&N air filter off Jonathon on tis site. He said it's best to run the air filter with it to get the best possible performance. They're so easy to fit, just disconnect a plug and socket then reconnect them to the male/female cables on the box. That's it.To run...

Help diagnose abs problem please. G Sensor?

Had a death in the family (not close family as such) over the weekend so never got the time to have a look. Did you have any further luck? I'm thinking I might just take it to the main dealer!

Help diagnose abs problem please. G Sensor?

Got it from JonathanM off here, came with a K&N (?) air filter. Well worth the money. Much more power and better MPG. To overtake now just put foot down, no having to build up speed and get your timings right.

Help diagnose abs problem please. G Sensor?

Just checked back with the garage that told me the wire colour, it's the pink/blue one. Either he said the wrong one in the first place or I misheard him, but when asked for the colour again, he said it's pink/blue. He said just trace this cable back as far as you can in each direction from the...

Help diagnose abs problem please. G Sensor?

Oh dear, sorry to hear that. I'm going to have a look at mine this weekend, if I find the same as you I'm wasting no more time on it and the car will be into the main dealer. I'll let you know how I get on this weekend.

Help diagnose abs problem please. G Sensor?

Bloody hell, sounds like we have exactly the same issue! Todate... Brake de-build, clean and rebuild (plus a few other bits) £160. New sensor: £205. Fitting new Sensor plus further diagnosis work as this didn't cure the problem: £100. I'm not even going to add that up, considering all the...

Help diagnose abs problem please. G Sensor?

Well I have had it confirmed by two Nissan service managers, the fault will be the pink/purple wire that sits within a larger black wire (loom perhaps?) that breaks at the point it runs under the intercooler. One of the dealers went so far as to quote me a price and say if it didn't fix the...

Help diagnose abs problem please. G Sensor?

Thanks for that, I'll be in touch. I have spoken with the foreman of one Nissan garage and he says without fail it's almost always a wiring fault, he told me to remove the intercooler, look for a black wire loom, in it will be a pink/purple wire, this is the wire that goes, but I'm not...

Help diagnose abs problem please. G Sensor?

The other thread details actions to date, but to recap: ABS light on the dash came on, computer says drivers side front sensor the problem. Replaced it, light still on. Further analysis has thrown up the following... Before the light comes on there is a clicking whirring noise from behind the...

ABS sensor: Replaced, light still coming on :-(

Thanks for that. Have looked at the G Sensor, looks fine, but then what can you tell from looking at it! We're still stumped!

ABS sensor: Replaced, light still coming on :-(

Found it, don't think that's the problem, least it's not the thing making a noise. Gonna stop on this for now and see if you guys can come up with any ideas. Worth mentioning the light comes on when accelerating fast and we initially got a fault reading of code 21, now it's reading 22.

ABS sensor: Replaced, light still coming on :-(

Actuator solenoid? Googling the fault code has thrown up this as one of the possible reasons. Anyone know where it is?

ABS sensor: Replaced, light still coming on :-(

Located the pump, it's not that making the noise, least i don't think it is, the noise is definitely coming from within the car. Have discovered the transmission controller sits behind the air vents in the centre console and the ecu lives down by the ashtray. Could it be either of these?
