    Coolant

I'm planning on doing my coolant tomorrow, and from what I've read on here taking the drain plug out is damn near impossible. So draining from the radiator is the other option. But if I do that, I won't get all the old coolant out. So do I drain it, fill with water, drain it again and so on, a...

    Bang bang bang from front

Have the steering stops been greased at all? Those symptoms point towards it, mine made the same horrid noises when reversing onto my drive, up the kerb - a few dollops of grease and all was well. Here is a download link that should help http://www.nissan4x4ownersclub.com/downloads/workshop/wk1.pdf

I'm in Radcliffe - It's kind of Lancashireish.

    Front drop link

It was recommended to me to get a pair from Milners, a bit more expensive than eBay - but they will be decent ones.

    eBay drop links?

So I sent my cheap eBay drop links back this morning (they looked solid enough, but looks can be deceiving) I'm going to get a pair from Milners; silly question though - will I need to get my tracking done after they've been fitted?

    Spot light roof bars

    I've been looking for the clamp on roof bars (don't have roof rails on my SWB) but I've only managed to find the uber-expensive Mont Blanc ones;

    eBay drop links?

If I hadn't of rushed into buying my new ones from eBay, I'd would of spent the extra and bought the ones from Milners. I still might return the eBay ones and get the Milners ones - not decided yet. Remember; buy once, cry once.

    Squeaky suspension

THESE are the fellas I got off eBay. £12 inc. P&P. I didn't contemplate that they might be made of balsa wood and duct tape though...

    Squeaky suspension

Just ordered some, should be here Monday. I'll give the underside a good WD40ing Saturday/Sunday (depending on weather, of course) While I'm changing the drop links I'll give every possible gap on the suspension a good oiling/greasing. Thanks for the help, I shall update Monday/Tuesday with...

    Squeaky suspension

Front drop links will be changed then, I'm guessing it's pretty much a case of undoing a few nuts, lining the new drop link up and tightening a few nuts up?

    Squeaky suspension

I can replicate the sound by bouncing the front of the car. A pair of drop links is £15 delivered, they can't be that hard to change, right?

    Squeaky suspension

My Terrano developed a 'squeak' on the way home tonight, only very slight when going over bumps. A quick Googling point towards drop links. Am I on the right track? It has also been making the occasion clunking sound at seeming random intervals.

    Changing my horn

I have an X reg Terrano II and I want to change the horn, as it has a feeble sound. I just want to put in a deeper and louder one - not something reminiscent of the Dukes of Hazard, or really obnoxious. Most of the ones I've seen on eBay state they are 'loud' ones, or ones that 'get you...

    glow plugs

I'm thinking of doing this too, there seems to be too many glows plugs on eBay; There are the pricey (but probably top of the range) NGK ONES. THESE LUCAS ONES - mid-range price wise. THESE 'RACEPARTS' ONES - cheapest yet, but I'm guessing I might as well chuck my cash on the BBQ? What brand...

    Shooting advice

Eye and ear pro are a must. Make sure your cheek is also in contact with the butt of the shotgun or you'll probably end up with a nice bruise just under your cheekbone. Squeeze the trigger, don't yank at it and also try not to blink or flinch when you pull the trigger - easier said than done...

using chip fat or mixed with diesel 50/50, fuel

I've been using new veg oil from Costco (£18 for 20 litres) at about 60:40 oil to diesel since Feb and doing over 300 miles per week. No problems yet for me. I started by putting 10 litres of new oil in a full tank of diesel, just to see how it went and it was fine, so I upped the percentage...

    Custom bash plate

Has anyone here made a bigger and better bash plate for their Terranos? Something thicker and that extends further back to cover the engine sump, and fix it to the crossmember just behind the front wheels. I'm interested in trying to have one made for mine, just not sure how to get the angles...

New to Off Roading With terrano Near Chester

Nice looking truck! Can I ask what type of roof bar you used for the roof lights and how you did the wiring? I'm thinking of the doing the same myself.
