Yes the plain hose gives no provision for the damper pipe thus does away with the damper box.

Just for the record, Should anyone need a clutch hose, the plain hose that was just £13 from my local factor is a perfect replacement for the more expensive £30+ hose with the steel block that accommodates the damper line, obviously the plain hose does away with the corrosive unreliable damper...

I did Mine with Mercasol, it's flexible and sprayed with a Shultz gun, also sprayed it into the chassis members with a multi directional lance, I know it's good stuff, I can still see some on my hands now :thumb2

Well not quite , however I have two of these New Truck mudguards for sale at £20 each for club members, A picture is shown below plus another pic with dimensions, at 26 inches wide these are ideal to cut into strips, at £5 a arch it's a really cheap way to do it. The black plastic is durable...

:lol - That's what my mate said when he saw me making the spacer, I have a little machine shop so it's no hassle, however approx three large washers for the probe and three 6mm washers for the securing bolt would work just as well, just take more care when tightening it up to the timing cover...

Remember to use a silicone sealant on both sides of the spacer.
