yes mate changed them last week and transfer box. the noise goes when I foot my foot down on the clutch. do you think it would be a good idea to start looking for a gear box?? would a box of a mk1 maverick/terrano fit and do the same job?

Anybody know of any possible faults that may arise with this scenario. When letting of the power in normal driving conditions the car is making a nasty squealing noise that goes once the clutch is pressed. only seems to make the squeal when letting the power off though!!

yes mate I was thinking tha myself today and gonna whip intercooler off and make sure they aint ripped as they go underneath the cooler

I dont think so I have managed to trace it back as far a bolt bout 22mm which can be seen from under neath if looking between starter and fuel pump but seems as if it could be coming from higher up than that!!

Anybody think of a possible place wher a mav td might spring a water leak ? it seems to be coming from thre underside of the inlet manifold but struggling to see its origine.

hope so pal pulls well either way but we aint too sure if mil was on before we fitted engine. Time will tell just got a grinding noise to sort out now then all good but will tackle that on a rainy day.

Just for the record 97 is MIL- circuit malfunction but still 95 is a mystery

well now comes the funny part and I have just checked and the codes it bought up was 13, 18 and for some reason 95, 97 whatever they are. So not sure where I got the sensor part from must have been making it up!!!!!!!!! Never the less i followed instructions, erased the codes and ran the car...

just bridged the data link and it has bought up vehicle speed sensor as a fault so i presume thats the one your talking about !!!!

I always thought gear casing are an ali so they should not really seize that bad and too much heat could be bad

well if thats the case then they aint mechanics cus a hammer will undo anything and there is a sealant for every job...................I HOPE!!!!!
