Well according to stats the TD27TI is direct injection, 8 valve engine, and the torque is 278nm@2000 rpm. Which I believe would use the bosch system. Compared to the TD27T which is indirect injection , 12 valve engine that produces 221nm@2200rpm and I reckon should be using the hitachi version...

yeah smokes intermitant when revved but when it does smoke it smokes quite bad.

Anybody else experienced this problem? when the cars sittint still and revved up, once the throttle is let off the engine will cut out and the MIL comes on then will restart and after a minute or so the light goes and the car runs again

usually dead easy on a corsa mate if its got fifth the linkage cant be too far from where it shiould. has it lost the other two or the linkage been took of for some reason.??

Now then the situaton is if you use a bar and clip then you will have to drill a bigger hole in order to use a bar big enough to take a clip and will in effect reduce the steel left and weaken it. So I thought would be best to use an M10 bolt with a wing nut for ease
