I think I have one of a car I broke thats a boasch although that was dead with fuel pump issues so prob best not to try or trust and just give mine a whirl first. What would you suggest I use to clean it.?

OK then I have looked at fault codes and it has bought up 18,95 and 96. Not sure what 95 and 96 are but number 18 is fuel quantity adjuster/position sensor. Any one know if there is a sensor that comes off the car that maybe causing this or is it part of the fuel pump thats giving way?

Well I am going to give it a life line and its going in on monday ish to be plugged in to see what the live data is doing. the fella thats doing it says his diag machine uses a feeze frame that will record what happened when the engine started playing up so all he has to do then is work out...

it has been on veg oil but is now on straight diesel. I ran it right down to get as much out as poss before putting diesel in it. Not got MIL light on at minute. Will there still be any codes to read without light on?

well have cleaned filter in banjo, it has new fuel filter and MAF sensor. and when the cars playing up the primer is in the same position as when the cars running well. not sure what to try next

ok will do just checking for a banjo filter at min then will get it running and see what it does

My father inlaws T2 has been making some serious noises when the clutch is not pressed but goes when its pressed down, So we presumed it was the thrust bearing and ytoday fitted a brand new clutch kit complete with bearing. To no Joy the noise is still there so any suggestions are welcome???
