Have read all the posts on changing out the 1.5 din (with built in hazard switch), with home-made fascia. Question is, will the old single din with hazard light above (i.e. not built into the radio), fit the space? i.e. Will this fascia come out and........... fit this space... Seems like...

Anyone got any recommendation on a good work light, specifically for underneath. I'm lucky to have a double garage, but its light is more like a cave! Was thinking of something like this where you could just push it under where the work was being done...

I have the dreaded wipers that won't turn off (both front and back). Now, I have a 2003 so don't have the relay box below the front wiper motor. Happened after giving it a wash. Removing the fuse will stop the front wiper, as will disconnecting it (funny enough) - but the back keeps going...

Good stuff, wasn't too sure about the rust treatment since you can usually paint hammerite straight onto rust. Is Fartan stuff good? Did you spray on? I was going to use hydrate 80 from Bilt Hamber, only because its advertised in my mag I get quite a bit.

Next job, oil/filter service. Nothing major to report. Done and dusted, apart from the oil filter is a bitch unless you use one of those filter pliers. Had a chain one, but rubbish on this particular type. Just keeping you guys updated!

New Keys Ok, decided to start of with a easy job. My key fobs have seen better keys, so for £6 of ebay, got replacement with new buttons. You have to solder the buttons on, but easy enough. They don't actual have pins that go right through the circuit board, but just solder on top...

Bl**dy hell, thats some change.. Nah, main reason was for towing the trailer and the seven seats for the family, but you never know. My mid-life crisis hasn't hit yet, and so you never know what will happen in a few years time!!

Here's a thought for you. The other half, better known as the wife had pain in her knees and shoulders and fingers, which kept moving around, similar to what you describe in that it's in the joints and seems like arthritis. She was worried that it was going to be like this for ever...

I think that's my problem, the heavy duty one what is bolted down the transmission tunnel is no longer there, unless its still there and I can't see it. Haven't removed the internal gaiter yet. Hopefully it will be there, if not, any ideas?
