    HELP111 fuel primer problems

so had the car packed and full off kids ready to go this morning and the terra wouldnt start. iv finally teraced the problem to the red wire that goes into the top of the fuel priming pump being broken, but as im taking it off the black one breaks too:doh:doh. iv stripped the plastic coating...

    Electrical question

just be careful that they are the same wires, i owned a fiat uno some years ago and the wiring diagrams were next to useless as they must just use whatever colour they have most of in the factory, may not be so bad on more modern stuff but mine was a nightmare

    Headlight problem

didnt it blow your fuse when on flash? i use these in my bike but only on dip and main as it draws too much current if i flash and blows my fuse.

    Headlight problem

mine were both melted, the o/s- sorry right hand side was conciderably worse and had melted right through so was in 2 parts. i removed them and replaced them with some spare motorbike ones i had. the bike ones have a rubber waterproof cover on them so i reckon they will be better suited to the...

    Headlight problem

give that man a doughnut:clap, sorry my bad.there isnt enough current going through it to make it obviously lit up, so i cant see why it would be this way from the factory????

    Lack of power/fuel starvation...

i keep lots of chickens so am used to vermin and think itl be mice. i suggest the coconut quality streets as they love those, if you dont have any left over from crimbo then use smooth peanut butter. rats like cat food but if you catch 1 leave it near the trap as they will come and attempt to...

    Headlight problem

there isnt enough voltage going through to light the low beam properly and the fact its earthing through the rear lights suggests that its a fault there as opposed to the front. dont worry my spots are wired in correctly with suitable multistrand cable and inline fuses:clap,

    Headlight problem

the problem im having is that when the sidelights are on the main beam is on very low, its only noticable as i wired in my spots so they now come on with the side lights, this is due to a bad earth on the sidelight circuit so i checked everything through and could find no problems, until io...

    fuel

its more expencive because the diesel itself is only about 75/80p/l (which is bloody cheap concidering what it goes through to get to the pump!) but more expensive due to the taxes levied on it bringing it up to the £1.45/l pump price. if you use loads of veg oil you have to pay tax on it which...

    fuel

iv been running the terra on a mix of sunflower oil, diesel and a little unleaded as reading through the posts there seems to be a bit of conflicting advice and this seems a good mix of cheap and safe running, but the problem im now having is where to buy the veg oil from cheaply. i used to get...
