Yesterday washers were fine, today nothing. Motor isn't running so no front or rear wash. Everything else works as it should and there are no blown fuses. I can't even see where the washer motor is to check the wiring. Any ideas?

Not possible unless the clutch was slipping. The speed-rpm ratio is fixed unless you change the gearing or wheel/tyre size.

If your doing 70-80mph then i am not suprised your mpg is poor. Remember you are driving something with the aerodynamics of a brick. This has a greater effect the faster you travel. I normally sit at about 60mph and get 28-31 mpg.

Mine behaved exactly the same. Changed the starter motor and its fine now.

The "speakers" in the rear door pillars are sensors for the alarm system.

Update Well my nicely lubed starter lasted a week before it started playing up again. Got another starter from the breakers and all seems ok for now. fingers crossed.

I know they are fun to drive but 250000 (1/4 million) miles in 19 month is a bit much. I wish i could afford that much diesel:D
