    Interesting kitchen set up.

I like the pull out sink with water. I also quite liked the look of this kitchen set up, it is quite long winded for a video but the pull out stove and work top appealed. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cCAmP8Cc83o

    This Weekend

Hi, DIY projects around the house for me, skirting board to fit, shed and tools to tidy and for a neighbour a stud wall to measure up and give them a rough price for materials. I was out for a few beers Friday evening into Saturday morning so yesterday was a bit of a right off so lots to do today.

    Possible Honda CRV purchase.

And it is this humor that means I won't be leaving, even if with a heavy heart the Terrano temporarily has to. Many thanks to all for the shared experience on the Honda. I have said yes to wanting it. So hopefully I should be able to buy it, I should know if I can in a few days. Pleased you...

    Possible Honda CRV purchase.

Cheers Lazy-Ferret, Pleased to hear you have had some success clearing some of your stuff and good to know there might interest in the equipment. Will do the research, make a few calls and see what I turn up. I think the car is at a okay price from what I can tell given the condition etc so...

    Possible Honda CRV purchase.

Hi Rick, Thanks, to be honest though I think I would be interested in selling the stuff on as soon as possible to bring down the overall cost. Sadly though it will still mean saying goodbye to the Terrano . For now anyway as it is more of a case of the right car at the right...

    Possible Honda CRV purchase.

Hi folks, I have the chance to buy a 2ltr petrol 2004 Reg Honda CRV SE Sport. It has 64,500 miles, one owner from new who was a doctor and with the exception of one a full Honda service history. It does have a 4x4 system of sorts although I am fully aware nothing to remotely compare to the...

Hi mate, A long shot. but have you checked the MOT history. I just might give a clue if the tester noticed something in the past.

A Open Question or a Closed Question or when is a question not a question

I always think how much would it cost/hassle to park somewhere else, if it costs £7 else where it has only cost £5 extra. Then I think is the £5 really worth the hassle, if it is hassle to park elsewhere. I would rather buy one less Chocolate bar/coffee a week for a couple of weeks and cover it...

    Steering wheel cover

Hi, Had I look on the the net and got better results if I searched under Van or Motorhome steering wheel covers. This is one site that popped up in the UK. http://www.rockshore.uk.com/steering-wheel-covers-184-c.asp

    4x4 Mode

Hi On my Terrano at least there is a set of 4wd instructions printed on a sticker on the drivers sun sun visor if you fold it down. Think they can go missing over time though.

    Another Water Leak

Hi, I have 2 leaks on each of the boot side windows which I have been struggling to find time to fix. The water collects exactly where yours does, I stuffed a couple of tea towels down there to soak it up and stop it running through the vehicle. May need to resort to exterior tape though if i...

Car Insurance During Red Alert Weather

Cheers folks, thought it sounded a little odd. I agree with you Perelaar, checking your insurance documents could be a good idea especially I imagine if you are running a sports or classic policy. As Rick rightly says if they can get out of paying they will. And in some cases I believe rightly so.

Car Insurance During Red Alert Weather

Hi, I have heard this a few times over the last few days but not from any trusted sources and just wondered if anyone knows if there is any truth to it. If the MET Office declares a Red Alert Warning in your area then you are not insured if you drive it in that area. If ill fate befalls it...
