I was changing trucks with the wife when I noticed my project truck has another leak:doh
I’m beginning to think this truck hates me:eek:

The boot carpet doesn’t fit over the rear wheel arches very well so on the edges you can see the sound deadening on the metal. At the drivers side below the seatbelt reel there was water dribbling out from under the plastic side trims.

I’m suspecting it is either the centre mounting for the roof rail or the rear side window.

Not a happy bunny with this dam truck now.

Hi,
I have 2 leaks on each of the boot side windows which I have been struggling to find time to fix. The water collects exactly where yours does, I stuffed a couple of tea towels down there to soak it up and stop it running through the vehicle.

May need to resort to exterior tape though if i don't repair it soon, sure someone else has done this when I posted about in in the past.

I bought some Tiger seal just need to find the time to fix. I poured water over the top outer seal and could see the water running down the inside of the window.
Might be worth extending the rear most seat belts and leaving extended to dry off, my passenger side one was soaked.

On mine both the centre mountings for the roof rack had leaked and rusted the metal round the riv-nuts!

Cheers for the replies guys, I had the centre mount leak on the old truck after wife had snagged roof bars on a washing line.

Will have to wait until next weekend when I can strip the inner panels out.

Found the leak today. Removed all the trim panels upper and lower from the boot area and could see the tide mark from the water. Definitely the centre roof bar mounting. It will have to wait for another day I’m afraid until I have more time.
