OK, so turning the key to unlock (key in the door) = all doors unlock. Turning the key to lock = only the drivers door locks (the others don't).

Key fob lock button & programming

Hi All, I have a strange issue with my key fob. Basically, the unlock button locks the passenger door and boot (not the drivers door). The lock button unlocks the passenger door and boot. So wrong way around (i am pressing the correct button). The drivers door seems to have a mind of its own...

    My Terrano

Finally managed to persuade my son to bring my truck back long enough to get a photo. New steely's with MT tyres on order (Maaxxis 764 MT), they will go on as soon as i get the suspension lift done.

    T2 SWB v T2 LWD rear springs

Thanks Fez, In that case, i'll just go for the dislocation cone set up. Just need to get some now.

    T2 SWB v T2 LWD rear springs

Just thinking a bit more - are the LWD shocks also longer than the SWB shocks? i.e. getting a 1.5" lift plus the drop. Would doing this make the rear end much stiffer (i.e. less weight at the back than the LWB).

    T2 SWB v T2 LWD rear springs

    T2 SWB v T2 LWD rear springs

:thumb2 Thanks, do you know if the LWB spring rating is about the same firmness (i.e. not noticeably firmer/softer)? Also, if in the future i wanted a bit more lift, could i then use dislocation cones for an extra 15mm or so without any other mods (i don't really want issues/mods caused by...

    T2 SWB v T2 LWD rear springs

Hi all, Maybe a dumb question, but are the rear springs on a LWB T2 longer than a SWB T2? I've seen a post that suggests they are also some retailers make a differentiation between SWB and LWB for spring lift kits. Just reading the many posts on lifts and wondered if using LWD springs on my...

    Hello Everyone

Basically, i got my son to look at the driveshafts whilst i crept forward and reversed a few metres whilst in 2H (neither turn) and 4H - only the offside shaft turns, nearside shaft does not rotate. However i can crawl underneath and rotate both driveshafts (one at a time - engine off and...

    Hello Everyone

Ahh, glad you asked. Short list if issues so far (son brought the truck back late this afternoon just long enough for me to have a poke around and change the rear LSD oil), i'm trying to get it back for an hour tomorrow as well). 1. Possible issue with the 4WD - when in 4H or 4L, the front...

    Hello Everyone

Hi All, Joined the forum a couple of days ago and just paid the membership fee today. Looks like a really good forum. I've just bought a 2000 T2 2.7TDI SWB (cheap-ish) and already found loads of great info for all the small and medium sized faults. Its a bit tatty as it was owned by a farmer...
