washers do work but not if you pull the stalk up where they are supposed to wipe as well for 4 sweeps.

parts hi mate. is the wiper stalk the same as on a mistral? on the left of column. and have you got the pair of glowplug regulators that sit by the battery on offside under the wing? how much for both bits? please pm it if you have them with price

hi lads. sorted bad starting out (see threads) now my intermittant wipers only work intermittantly. all connections are ok and normal wiper mode ok but no wash with wipe or intermittant. could it be the stalk and if so anyone got one for a mistral 2.7td? cheers

right. checked all plugs. all ok. put a meter on power feed to plugs and i get 12.25v til dash light goes out and then 11v permanently. is this right? :nenau:nenau

done the valves the weekend. no difference. put a meter on each of the plugs and got 11 volts to each so im lost now????????????????????

well, this morning 4.30, priming like mad, it was already hard but still did it. no difference at all. still had to turn ignition off and on 3 times and keep turning over til it started.

thanks for advice lads. ill try the priming pump to see if that makes a difference. i did take the filter off to check if the primer was working and found that the only one way valve is on the line to the pump. line from fuel tank is an open line. is this right? thanks again:clap:clap:clap

did have a problem with a pattern fuel filters seals off the net but i sorted it. definitely have no air leaks on fuel side. the prob has slowly got worse and cant pin it down to when i changed the filters. sorted the smoking out. reset the valve clearances, they were well out. BIG THANKS TO...

got power to the plugs. 11 volts. been told theres regulators for the plugs. changed the one under the fuses on drivers side inside. hear a clicking under bonnet when turning ignition on to activate plugs. 2 small connections with what could also be regulators on off side by battery under wing...

gearbox filter thanks for the advice

hi lads. can anyone tell me if theres a filter for the auto gearbox on a mistral 2.7td. i changed the oil and been told theres a filter but buggered if i can find one:confused:

just a note of warning lads(and ladies) in the s.east(kent) if you see a gritter dont assume the roads safe cos ive been out gritting all week only we are watering the grit down with sharp sand cos we are running out of salt. so please beware

all new plugs etc. when she does catch it sounds like shes missing as in petrol and needs hand throttle to keep ticking over until warm

engine turns over brill but wont catch first time.filters all ok. could it be the injectors? can i take them out and clean them? ive used injector cleaner in the fuel buy dont know if its effective, merry xmas and happy new year to all:thumbs:thumbs

power for how long it takes to clean the mini filter id do it anyway. i had same prob in my mistral,all smoke no power but revved ok in neutral. cleaned the filter and all ok
