Chumba You may find that some tyre dealers will try it on.....'Oh it's a 4x4 they can be a bit tricky etc' I went to my local Nissan dealer who had all the correct equipment and was cheaper than the other well known tyre places. I am actually saying that it's also a good idea to get em tracked...

Sounds like out of balance, but the wheel bearing could need adjusting [when you go for a balance ask the fitter he will check for play in the bearing] also what wheels have you got on....alloys are a pain sometimes to get balanced......I have alloys and I have that wobble you mention...
