If memory serves me right there is workshop how to in the downloads section, one of the first jobs I did on my Mav, fairly straight forward unless you have siezed or broken parts.

Good point, its probably sitting in his garage ?. failing that if it was me I would just rip it out & start afresh with an after market one.

if when you say monitor you mean just the display screen is missing, look to see if was wired with std connections, if so you should easily find a replacement on ebay or the like, it does not have to be the same make, brand just the right fittings.

This was the first repair I had to do to my Maverick, had it for a week then started having gearbox niggles & clutch slip going up hills, thats how I found this forum, I replaced the master at the same time just in case. No problems since then, over 2 years now.

I only use Green as thats the recommended one for our trucks, the older ones anyway.

I would check or replace your slave cylinder first, quite a common problem on these motors.

I could hear the mot guys muttering when they were checking her over, saying how good a nick she was in & the work I have done on her, when they were done they said they tried really hard to find something wrong but couldn't :lol. Most Terries & Mav's they see are pretty bad in at least one...

It was completely removed, if left on it would have to be working properly.

I don't notice any difference, & as it passed the mot brakes must be working fine, although the LSV as I understand it only comes into play when you load the back up ?
