    Rear light fixing

I have kept mine and I am getting more retaining clips to hold them in better and LED lights to go in them. You can never have too many lights :clap:clap Ian

    Lifting the suspension

Thanks for the tip. I will go and investigate in the morning. The pictures show it well.

    Lifting the suspension

So now had the suspension lifted. Went for the 4" OME kit. Having decided this was beyond me, I had it done by Devon 4x4. Gone the whole hog and had a bumper, winch and snorkel done at the same time. Increased the value of the car about 3 fold :augie Mind you, adding the club sticker before the...

    I have the power!!

Surely it is now time to cut your losses and go Electric!!:augie

    electric cars.

    Great minds ................:clap:clap

    electric cars.

I think Electric is a passing fad, as Sweety says, the fuel used to power the electricity generators is just as bad as using the diesel directly. I am waiting for a good hydrogen powered engine. Split water into Hydrogen and oxygen, burn it in an engine, waste product is water. Simples...

    Rear light fixing

Having just spend some time looking, the clip does not seem to feature on any Patrol parts list, but is on the 300zx :nenau Anyway it looks like this, and to hold the lamp surround in place you need at least 4. You will also need a lot of patience to get them on. :augie Ian

    Rear light fixing

Each of the tabs should have a toothed spring clip on to hold it in position. As new I think it has one on every tab (about 8 per side?, I can't remember how many tabs there are). I have never have more than a 2 or 3 on each side. They are a right %**% to get on as the access is very poor. Over...

    Headlights. URGENT

I have used this site. It seems to have a good coverage. http://www.1stchoice.co.uk/ However I think the chances of you finding a European headlight in a UK breakers is very unlikely. Best of luck Ian

    galvanised chassis on Terrano

Welcome, I have only joined recently, but the one thing that is very obvious, everyone loves pictures. :lol:lol:clap:clap

    Two Stroke in Diesel

I am going to give this a try. The Patrol has done 163k miles and could do with a bit of tlc. If it makes it rattle less in the morning that would be an improvement :) Ian

    Changed Glow Plugs today

An interesting post. Like the pictures :thumbs I had the same problem this time last year. It seems you always notice this when the cold mornings start. Unfortunately for the Patrol I think I was charged about £24 each :( Ian

    Towing help

If you get a Dixon-Bate tow hitch and replace the normal ball, you can attach the tow bar to that. :thumbs As long as you are not trying to tow something much heavier than your Terrano, you will not have any problem with the rear of your car being pushed sideways, but do remember you will need...

Hi I'm new - from Cambs looking for advice

I am glad someone has, too much Terrano talk for my liking :augie:augie Ian

    Speedo Reading

I have to agree on this, every car I have had read about 5% low as standard, I did wonder if the different tyre pressure could make that much difference by changing the rolling circumference :nenau. On the current Patrol with 285/75/16 tyres, it is almost spot on.:thumbs Ian

    Whoopsie

Does the club have insurance to bail out members arrested for trespass? :augie :lol

ARE YOU NEW TO GREENLANING/MAP READING.

I realise this is an old post, but I am interested in finding any interesting "off road" bits around me. Does anyone have any maps of Essex showing the green lanes? Ian
