just to add, I did the downpipe replacement on saturday. went for mild steel because cost :augie anyway, squirted the three nuts with plusgas and left for a while while i removed the two rearmost bolts at the flange. these came off easily enough :thumbs next was the U bolt holding the pipe...

i tried the soldering iron fix on mine, but still no joy. add that to the fact that all three of the damn bulbs are blown, and im starting to look for a new cluster too :(

quick one Banshee, those are listed as 2.7 TD rather than TDi. would that make a difference, as they seem much cheaper than the likes of Eurocarparts etc. cheers, Lee

ive just done all of the fluids on mine, and i can say with some certainty, that yes, access is easy enough with 1 litre bottles, but it will still take an age and be very annoying! do yourself a favour and get a large syringe, or pump. you will be glad you did. i have now got one of these...
