    One tough trip !!

Thank you for giving me to most perfect start of the morning! Such an interesting story! :thumb2 Am soon going all the way to The Gambia from Sweden and something tells me there is a slight risk of ending up in the same situation as you when going on some excursions in the sand. Your story gave...

    Front bumper mounts

All angles will be 90degrees except for the one conecting to the rest of the steel frame. You will see! :) Good luck!

So as departure is closing in we have started to work on a blog where we will keep posting during and also before the road trip down to The Gambia! Front bumper mounts

Yes that could work but it will be a bit tricky to get the angles right. I noticed when scetching it up that the angles are crucial for the outcome. One easy way of doing it would be to print it out in "real size" and just make a template. You will see which side you should fold them when you...

    Front bumper mounts

I could put the measurments and take a screenshot but the best would be if the .dwg file could be in the download section of the forum? Either converted to pdf 1/1 scale or as .dwg?

    Front bumper mounts

So if any body will need the DWG for the side bumper mounts I've got it. It fit nicely all you will have to do is to bend them to the right angle!

    Front bumper mounts

I take the blame! If you have access to a laser cutter or something similar you can have a look at my thread. Think I made them out of 2mm steel plate. I might even be able to find the DWG's for them.

    Wanted, SNOW CHAINS.

Good luck finding those snow chains! I think Trolpower is all you need and the roads are well kept here during winter. But if it makes you feel more safe :naughty Snapped this picture this morning while driving to work. It's getting cold now and expect it to get even worse in February! I know...

Thanks it's coming together well so far! The wing is not new I just polished it up with a rag after assembly! The whole car got repainted before I got it. There has been some previous repair of rust on the wings. Unfortunately I need to cut away some from the front wheel arches as the tires...

    Cold start idle

So have ordered some cheap plugs from ebay and an Engine temp sensor from a local shop. If the plugs is the issue then I will consider buying the good quality ones. We have -14ºC here now and the car starts with no hesitation. The engine is revving faster due to the cold and only get lumpy when...

    Cold start idle

This is very strange, that's what I also though so was surprised when there where no difference even with the MAF unplugged.. I have a spare CPS so will try to change it + go trough the glow plugs once more. Is there an EGR valve on this model, can that one be the cause?

    Cold start idle

Got a new MAF yesterday from eBay. Plugged it in with no effekt on the idle. Noticed as well that there seem to be no difference if i unplug the MAF entirely, still idles the same. I have a new CPS, will change that one as well just to see..

    Second Battery Mounting

Will you set it up as an aux battery? I'm at the moment wiring up a "stand alone" electric system in the car to be connected to the aux battery. Right now it's connected in parallel but will sort that out as soon as possible. Can post some pictures in the evening!
