So if any body will need the DWG for the side bumper mounts I've got it. It fit nicely all you will have to do is to bend them to the right angle!

I could put the measurments and take a screenshot but the best would be if the .dwg file could be in the download section of the forum? Either converted to pdf 1/1 scale or as .dwg?

Lovely idea :thumb2

I'd PM Bat21 to see what he suggests is best as he is the only one with access to the FTP site where all of our downloads live :thumbs

What are the dimensions?!

Overall height and max width will do, then anyone can size them up, and buy an appropriate sheet of steel, clearly x2 lol.
Clearly one folds up, and one folds down for different sides...
But which side?
If you fold the sides down... which side does it fit?
Also what gauge steel, or thickness in mm.

Must be an opportunity for someone to knock a few up.

Yes that could work but it will be a bit tricky to get the angles right. I noticed when scetching it up that the angles are crucial for the outcome.

One easy way of doing it would be to print it out in "real size" and just make a template.

You will see which side you should fold them when you look at the old ones (if they are not completly rusted away :D

My last T2 had the same rot, my mate made up plates and battered them as he welded into roughly the right shape. Handily he's a 6'7" 22st Gorilla and even thick sheet steel will give when he puts his weight behind a hammer! :D

Most of the boot floor area behind the middle seats on mine is cut from an old Q8 oils 205L steel drum - way thicker steel than Nissan thought to use!

excellent!!!

Cheers silastingy and bat21, guess what i'll be doing this weekend in between snow showers!!!:thumbs

All angles will be 90degrees except for the one conecting to the rest of the steel frame. You will see! :) Good luck!
