Undo Bottom ball joint, circlip off end of cv, swing hub up, take shaft off completely

These cvs don't knock off, for me anyway. I remove the shaft, take the circlip of the tripod joi t and slip that off with its boot. Then slide new cv boot down the shaft, and assemble in reverse

I had both driveshafts off today to replace the shit balcast outer cv boots I put on that lasted about 6 months. Rolling around on gravel mud and freezing water, grim.

Mine kept pulling the link through the top washer, it would just destroy itself, replaced it twice. This is from articulation at pay and play, hence why I binned my front arb

Hub centric means they fit over the spigot and provide a mirror of the spigot for the wheel to center on. Offset is how far the wheel sticks out from a given point ( which I think is the center of the rim, but could be wrong lol ) et45 is sticking in 45 mm from said point. Neg - 45 is sticking...

As rustic said, it's the stopping that's the problem. Give yourself about 5 times the stopping distance, and when on estates and urban areas you should be doing about 10mph max Abs is a total twat on these and snow makes it twice as bad

Should have negative camber after lifting, ie. the top of tyres are further in to arch I spaced mine back out with 2.5mm m14 washers, I also needed longer bolts
