hey nothing wrong with Jags :) my partner has an XK8 Cab needless to say it doesn't come out in the snow, but for some reason when I drive it I grow these great big horns.. :)

I insured with LV £240 fully comp Churchill who I insure another car with and my daughters car couldn't touch it. ( maybe it's because of my age LOL )

I don't know Rick, the Mistral came like that with only one key, I took it to the local locksmith and he put it in a "reader" and said the key wasn't chipped so a normal duplicate was OK.

My original key wasn't chipped so I got the spare cut from a local locksmith.

£20?? I think your paying too much, mine charges £10 maybe that's the reason it hasn't worked.... never mind a little bit of insanity doesn't go amiss...

ok mine didn't have the chip so was easy to cut a spare, I'm sure there are places out there that can cut one for you but like I said I don't think they come cheap... :(

I think when you take it in to cut they can put it in a "reader" and it will tell them the chipset.... may be wrong, and I don't think they come cheap either..

hello from another Lincolnshire owner, I had the same problem when I got my mistral, only one alarm fob, but found a very nice man from leeds who came out, found the pin number to my alarm and coded a new fob for me. I also had a spare key cut locally but I don't think it was chipped so cheap...
