IANS DISCO Ian Sounds like a bit of a good deal for £2.5K. There are lots of mods for them so you should have fun adding all the bits and bobs. As soon as you get any photos post them. :smile:

I had a similar problem with my Colways, however we got as near as damn it! and there are fine on the road. Its a very common problem on remoulds and the heavier the tread the harder to balance.

While you have it jacked up chect to see if the wheel bearings are loose.

Just going to run this by you guys to see if my thinking is corect. I have noticed that my T2 is smoking a bit when starting from cold, it also feels a bit lumpy to start with. This only lasted about 5 seconds then it as smoothe as can be. Checked the oil for water, no white scum all is fine...

To be fair I wouldn't mind a series LR that is Tax free for accasional use, however they are totally different kettle of fish. I still think give me a choice out of a Y reg T2 and a Y reg Disco, it the T2 every time, much better value for money.

My T2 has done 60K, However I remember my old Fiesta 1.8 it had done 110K and never missed a beat, it died when a lorry drove into it 8O I swear it would have gone on for years.
