There is a chance the factory wiring can't supply the needed current, tbh I would have fitted a relay & ran a power supply from the battery & a wire from the factory reverse power wire as the switch feed

As for the bushes i've fitted poly bushes on both of the T2's i've had as the standard rubber ARB ones don't last 5 mins:doh on my old truck the poly bushes still looked new after 3 years:thumb2

You have to keep the main seat base frame/runners from the T2 & make brackets to mount new seats onto the T2 runners but not all seats are easy to adapt due to their seat base frame work. You also have the problem of fooling the T2's ecu if you have side air bags as the light comes on IIRC as...

IIRC they are longer which helps to stop camber issues when you lift the front end up, Makeitfit has a set on his Mav which he bought from an old member called Bluebull years ago

It's a different beep sound when I connect up the caravan electrics so it's either a different buzzer or a twin tone buzzer:nenau

On my 55 plate if the lights are left on after switching the ignition off & you open the door it beeps:augie

You can buy hard wire kits that step down the voltage & use an add a fuse connector (look on evilbay) & connect it to an ignition live in the fuse box:thumbs

I know you have:D but thought i'd mention it incase those with seat air bags went to get a set of covers like yours not knowing you have changed your seats because if the seat air bags went off the seat covers would stop the bags going in the correct direction & force the bags to inflate into...

No special tools needed a normal 12mm socket will do if your careful but a deep reach one will be better to get the glow plugs out & again a normal 8mm socket or one that fits the little nut
