    Halfords fitting service?

Getting the lorry out is the cheap bit compared to the Engineers bill for checking the bridge damage.

Once a month!!!! sorry but its addictive. You have been warned. Most shooters have rimfires in the cabinet somewhere. You can pick one up for under £100,, but wait until you know more about what you want. What ever sight you put on it, peep or optics it won't be less than £200. Look on guntrader...

    FYI

If you have or can borrow a known good antenna to swap, it will confirm the mounting of the base is good or otherwise. "It was proven when I used a mag mount and the SWR was nearly 1.1:1 " Just read this in your previous post. Mag mounts are not touching the roof or they would scratch...

    FYI

Maybe you looking at the wrong thing? When you touch the antenna you don't earth it, you change the capacitance in it. Have you tried any other ant's in the same base to see what they perform like. You could try the antenna on a known ground plane and check its swr or mount it connected to the...

Stop being obsessed with " big guns " as the cost of ammo will cripple your wallet. 308/762 are around £1 a bang. Think rimfire for your first ventures. David.

    Firearms stuff

" You'll do better to wait until you've moved bud as each police area handles applications for their area, it's not centralised. " I would add that some authorities are " more efficient " than others. David.

Firstly join the club as you don't have land sufficient to shoot one. This justifies the need for posession of the weapon (s). The club will work with you to get you your FAC and or shotgun cert. Do them both at once so they are co-terminus, is cheaper and you can use the same references.Only...

Very pictureque at this time of year. My kids loved the railway to Ravenglass. Boats used to sell fish to tourists there but it's too close to Sellerfield for comfort. David.
