Sounds like there is stuff going on then.

They are still healing, I have to plaster them every night, just to keep the muck out :thumb2

Moved back up to sunny Fleetwood, oh I miss Liverpool :(

Preparing for the start of uni tomorrow... Take me back to sea!

I have been busy at home having new Central Heating fitted so had some preparation work to do beforehand.

No hot water at ours for the next two days should all be done by Friday.

I have been busy single handedly getting the country out of recession or helping to fund the NHS, not sure which..

Spent Yesterday at A&E with my wife, who was sicking up blood. 9 hours later we got to come back home, only to have to go back again today to get a "Hospital only" prescription which took nearly 2 hours.

54miles of Diesel
£3 parking at first hospital, who could not help, so had to go onto a second one. Luckily, it is classed as an emergency, so only an hour wait at the first one.
£5 parking at second hospital, and remainder of day spent in A&E, after a 2 hour wait to be seen. Apparently it's not as big an Emergency at the second hospital.
£2 parking day two
£3 for a coffee
£6 for some none prescription Medicine
£8 for a prescription.

Too make things worse, we came back from holiday, and had ran the car onto the last dregs getting home so we could fill up at the local Tesco and get our 5p/litre off, meaning the tank was nearly empty and the warning light was on. Since I did not want to waste time driving out of our way to get to the local Tesco, I ran on Air to the hospital, and had to fill up at a garage local to there, where the diesel was 139.9p per litre, instead of the 131.9p minus 5p discount.

So basically, it's been an expensive couple of days, sitting on hard chairs and getting a numb bum.

Suz is still pretty bad, and very sore, so need to see how the meds kick in for a few days, and if no progress, we have to go back for more detailed examinations.... so I am just sorting out a second mortgage.

Hell that sounds terrible, I hope everything will work out OK......:thumb2
The whole thing about hospital parking is a debacle, that lays extra stress at an already stressful time....

You are not kidding, a few years ago, I was working in the garage on my own, and the wife was out at a works do. A piece of metal I was holding in the vice, and drilling, snagged. As it was a shiny bit, that I did not want to scratch, so it was in rag, and the vice was only done up tight enough to grip, rather than clamp tight. The drill ripped it out the vice, and threw it across the bench, and in doing so, somehow caught the side of my finger, and sliced it open, bad enough to need stitches.

I had not lived here long, and did not know where the nearest hospital was, so had to look through the yellow, rapidly turning red, pages, and found it was 15 miles away in Tonbridge Wells. I wrapped my hand as best I could in a clean tea towel, and drove to the hospital. Luckily it was when I had the V70 Auto, so only needed one hand for most of the time. When I got there, and found it, I discovered that you had to pay for parking, and as I had left in a hurry, I had no money on me. Luckily, one of the security guards was outside, and when I explained my predicament, he let me into a secret that the guy who watches the car-park goes home at 6, so I should be safe...

It was a Friday night, and the A&E looked like world war 3 had started, so I settled in for a long wait, all the time worrying if I was going to return to the car to find it clamped or towed, and a large fine. Luckily the Security guard was right.

Another thing is, a lot of them expect you to pay up front for how long you are going to be, but with the huge queues, how are you supposed to know, and once you are through to the actual A&E part, there is no way you can just pop back out to put more money on the car.

Ponder this for a moment...
Have you noticed, during the day, no matter where you are, it's always sunny above the clouds.:)

I can confirm this is true and dam fantastic to be above the clouds when everyone else is down there under the clouds. Best of all upside down:thumbs
