    Guess this mystery object

When we go laning we use 2way radios they are cheap now from likes of Asda & all same frequency. Work really well & have more than enough range for convoy.

    Making a fuel tank ?

I recently fitted a new tank to the blitz. I bought the tank from e.bay it was a square tank with no fancy shape probably a diesel tank from a road compressor or similar. I cut off and welded up unwanted outlets then welded in a flange cut from a Vauxhall tank to take the fuel pump as said above...

    Project Twin Axle Trailer

I found with Ifor Williams trailer that I can buy a wheel and tyre for about £10 more than local tyre firms want for just the tyre so it's not worth refurbing the wheels.

Mitsubishi Barbarian 4 cab thingy ?

Such a shame that Mitsubishi have built some really good engines & didn't put any of them in the l200.

More stuck stuff: gear box filler

Perhaps you could pass Daemo the details of the former owner of your truck then Daemo could hire him to look after his unit sounds like a right gorilla. :spanking:

How do I straighten a bent Pendulum ?

I would assume the pendulum is a precision part of the clock and needs to be accurate for the clock to perform correctly. I bought a clock that was in pretty rough order & it sat on the project shelf in the shed for months, I got asked to do some sandblasting on green oak for a barn conversion...

    X-Trail, or Shogun Sport

Could well be capable of 39mpg I am in no position to say it can't just that I would be impressed with any vehicle of that type returning 39

    Bolt Removal Extraction Kits

I would agree with what Rick has said those tapered ones are really only any good for removing a snapped stud that is already loose I don't think it has any chance on a steel stud grown in to alloy. I have good success removing studs with the mig. drop a washer on top of broken stud even if it...

    X-Trail, or Shogun Sport

39 MPG sounds optimistic, though possible I suppose if it doesn't have my foot on the accelerator.
