    What's this tube..?

Hope so mate, hope so. I do love the beast already. Just want my hub back and my alarm working properly. Not too bothered about not having a rear wash-wipe. I dread to think who's been let loose in this previously with all the stuff I'm finding. They say a little knowledge is dangerous.. I'm...

    What's this tube..?

It wouldn't surprise me in the least... No, don't think so unless there was a phantom screen washer in there. It was just stood on the drive most of the time.

    Alarm not working

It's a 98 R. I believe trim is as it should be. Did a basic online check before I bought it and everything seemed to check out ok. MOT is due in October, you saying that it wouldn't pass as it is now? :doh

    Brake pads

Thank you kindly Toolbox. :thumb2 That looks way above my head but I'll show it my mate who's going to fit them. Am I right in thinking that I need only go to 'withdraw the brakepads..' seeing as I'm only fitting pads and not disks?

    Alarm not working

Yup. Now I'm wondering if the bloody air bag would work ok..? If someone's had the wheel off for some reason, why couldn't they have just re-wired the horn as was, instead of to the daft little switch? The more I dig, the more shite I unearth it seems.

    What's this tube..?

No it doesn't - just tested it. :( This truck is starting to be so fekking FUBAR.

    Alarm not working

Tested my alarm tonight as I had my suspicions all wasn't as it should be, and I was right. The hazard lights flash but there's no sound. I presume that the sound should come from the horn..? If so, I wonder if it's got owt to do with my hooter being on a flicker switch on the dash? Don't...

    What's this tube..?

Having a fettle about in the back, trying to find somewhere to run the wires for the parking sensors, when I unearthed this... At first I thought it was carrying the wires to the lights but it's empty. It appears to run from the front but just disappears down by the brake lights. Any ideas?

    Hub covers

Just noticed today that my front right plastic hub cover is missing which I'm not pleased about. I'm attributing this to Friday when the vehicle went in for a service. I've got to ring back tomorrow when the mechanics are there. Can anyone tell me, are these easy to get off? What I want to know...

    Brake pads

Took the truck for a service and health check on Friday. Needed a new front droplink and is about ready for new brake pads. The garage offered to fit some pads and said "seeing as we've got the wheels off anyway, we won't charge labour - so just £65 for the pads.." He was 'avin a giraffe...

    Living with the T2

Same with mine. I've found that you have to make a conscious effort to slot them in, rather than just point and shoot like a car. Is this normal for Terranos? I have to say that I do prefer it to my previous drives though.
