    DaveD Deleted?

He was in two minds about renewing I know, what with being a long-term Jeeper, but I can't see why he would have been deleted?

    Insurance claim

what a girlie conclusion ...you've clearly had too much Lucozade haven't you :lol:lol:lol anyway I think you'll find if you check PROPERLY (:lol)that any private land that the public have access to i.e. a car park, is regarded as the same as the public highway with regards to insurance etc. In...

    Insurance claim

LOL you kill me, all that to admit that I'm right! Never mind telling me how it USED to be, that ISN'T how it is now is it, as you have carefully explained. PLUS you've argued the point like a woman, take and twist bit 180 degrees:doh - I was talking specifically about insurance, not legal...

The T2 and the northern lights

Truly amazing. Watched a documentary recently where the very horny Julia Bradbury did a walk to Landmannalaugar and got helicoptered up to the volcano....stunning scenery. Especially the bit where her arse was hanging out of her bikini when she swam in the hot springs LOL:naughty

    Transit

LOL they are always about! I've already got an LT85 that I biught new three years ago, which I'd have bought a canopy for that would have done the job for £400-500...but IW only do one for the LM85 which doesn't have dropsides and is two inches wider all round than the LT....bloody nonsense.

    Noise when engaging drive

Automatic gearbox faults can be a royal PITA to diagnose, not to say expensive. The advice I was given by a bloke who'd spent his entire life running an operation repairing them was "wait til it actually breaks, its cheaper in the long run..."....

Do we know if its actually under threat? If it is, then of course we'd be doing that. Vis-a-vis commercial operators, it was just one such group that got that girl drowned up there 2-3 years ago. They suck. And call me a NIMBY but its a royal PITA to see stuff like great convoys of trucks into...

Might just be the way its geared Pete - AFAIK it only churns out around 110-112 bhp in standard form....

well I hope not, but if they do, it won't be because theres any case as far as nuisance goes, its too remote....but they may well have a case in respect of environmental damage off the track - thanks mainly to the hordes of visitors who come and use it as their personal playground....

    Transit

Its making more and more sense to me too. After reading umpteen owner reviews of the 06-on Transit I'm less than impressed to be honest. If it was a van I'm settled on a Hiace....not quite the load space of the Tranny but unequivocally more reliable and thus economical to boot. Just have to...

    Transit

Why didn't I find you earlier? LOL After my earlier post I had a look around and Hiaces are, as I suspected, very thin on the ground.....and not that cheap either....probably a couple of grand more than the equivalent Tranny and all of the ones with a 2006/7 manufacture date had 90-100k miles...

QUICK - BBC FOUR AT 9PM TONIGHT (Sun)

And where did their intervention get anyone in the case of the Peaks, or Sarn Helen for example? The only reason routes like Strata Florida aren't closed is the fact that there aren't any locals immediately impacted by vehicular traffic, and there are a minimal number of walkers there. I don't...
