I hope these are clear enough. I can not open the door fully in the drive, last time I got into this position to take the photos, I must have been a lot more supple :thumbs

    Center dash / Blower controls mk3 T2

Thanks, looks a good website. There are so many things that will be getting LED lights now. I have had so much fun soldering resistors into impossible places, never thought to look for these would have saved numerous burned appendages.

Theoretical question that may inspire a project

Good Idea Proud owner of a 52 plate 3.0 SWB, 70000 miles. This may cure my intermittent clutch problems. Very interested, added to next years "Retirement things to give it a go list".:thumbs

    Wanted: T2 MK3 Radio removal tool/key

Thanks This thread is the best:clap I have ups and downs (serotonin brain soup); this thread has lifted me up immensely :thumb2. I will never look at muddy covered macho 4x4 owners in the same light again. There is a similar thing with RN matelot, on a "Run Ashore" they are either drunk in the...

    Difficult to select gears

I have had more of an occasional viewing rather than contributing membership for a few years due to a combination of factors (depression, family etc) and now hope as I am coming up to retirement that I can give more time to Terri. The gear change on my 3Lt SWB (70,000 miles)is very...

    Leak Help

Chalk Water is notorious for appearing a distance away from the leak. A technique that works is to remove the carpets/ trims and dry the area, the coat the area with a chalk based solution and allow to dry (there are commercial sprays that can be used but I can not remember their names). When...

    Leak Help

Try the Mastic sealant for Caravans, it can be bought as strips and is easier to fit. The other advantage is it does not set as silicon does and therefore does not lift with movement. :thumb2

ZD 3.0 - Oil in Intercooler

When changing my glowplugs I noticed a small amount of oil in the intercooler and when I split the throttle from the inlet manifold there is black tar /gunk in the front port. After research I picked up from a patrol forum that this can be caused by overpressure in the oil system which feeds...
