    I hate insurers...

Your caravan is going straight to the scrappers. If it was me I would strip everything. Fridge, cooker, water pumps, leisure battery. I'd swap the wheels for crap ones....

Strip it. They are not gonna care if it is to be scrapped. You can remove your belongings anyway on write offs. ie stereo equipment

    Rusty Sills!

The best way is to get it welded. Once that has had the grinder on it will be a bigger area. Whats the inside sills like, I reckon they will need doing as well.

2005 Terrano 2 2.7TD stopped on motorway and won't start!

I had a problem on a Mondeo where it just cut out and would not start. AA man came out, He was ages messing about, Diagnosed it as an immobiliser fault. Got him to tow me 30mls to the best car sparky I have ever known. Fixed it in 10mins. A fuse. AA man checked every fuse with a multi meter, I...

2005 Terrano 2 2.7TD stopped on motorway and won't start!

If it is the key / immobiliser fault then the engine light on the dash will flash when the key is turned to 2nd position.

2005 Terrano 2 2.7TD stopped on motorway and won't start!

As far as I know the immobiliser/coded key is unlikely to affect an engine once it is running, And yours was running but then cut out, right? I can remove my key from the ignition when the engine is running and nothing happens.
