    Rear Spoiler arrived today.

I could have done with a spoiler on mine when the son-in-law backed my T2 into a tree and dented the top of the door and smashed the rear window, probably wouldn't have cost that much to find a new one, rather than the 670 euros that it cost my Spanish insurance company, which no doubt they will...

    lost

It'll be the greens in the green lane that caused the wind that blew off your hub centres, lucky they didn't end up in Briggies' nomadic wheelie bin!

    Rear Anti Roll Bar Links

No, not under tension Jim - easypeasy job to change them (did mine a couple of months ago).

    Broken spring

Thanks for the offer Banshee and the advice Makeitfit, but the cost to send them to Spain would hardly make it worthwhile, plus having had recent surgery on my back I'm incapable of lying under a car for the next few months!

    Broken spring

Been back in Spain since mid December and have noticed some odd lurching behaviour from the left rear of the car on right hand bends - decided to have a look in it's nether regions and found nothing wrong on the left, but on the right the rear spring has snapped one turn down from the top...

And the big wait has started

I'm also type 2 diabetic (tablet control, not insulin), DVLA have never even contacted me about it. Seems like it depends on what side of the bed the penpusher in Swansea got out of that morning!

    Courtesy light switch wanted

Thanks for that Spook, apparently there are two types of switch, one with two pins and one with three, dependant on the year. Mine appears to be the two pin type (I say "appears" because I can't actually pull the switch out to examine it as the cable is caught on something. It does appear to...

    Courtesy light switch wanted

Thanks Rick, doesn't need to be posted to Spain now, I will be back in Bristol in a few days so I will take it over when I'm back again in March. Cheers (Bruce)

Still on the lookout for a courtesy light switch (drivers door) for my 1994 T2, can anyone help?

    new battery

Since the demise of my Varta battery I've been told that no batteries like the heat, and that 2 years is about a normal max life for a battery over here, that must be the reason Varta only give a 2 year warranty in Spain.

    new battery

I bought a Varta 2 years ago here in Spain at a cost of 168 euros and where the warranty is only 2 years - after 26 months it packed up! I now have a Yuasa!

    Courtesy light switch wanted

Tried to have a look at the switch but unfortunately the cable must be snagged on something, the switch will only pull out about an inch. I will have to remove the entire front to back trim panel to release it. I can see there are just two wires going to the switch, red & black so I assume it is...

    Window motor

https://www.windowregulatorman.co.uk/window-regulators/ford/ford-maverick/ford-maverick-window-regulator-with-motor-right-front-door Hi Bry. Try this one. Gone up a bit since I bought mine 2 years ago, but it's not much dearer than breakers are selling used ones for (and it's a better design).

    Window motor

When mine failed I bought a new one from a company I seem to recall called Electric Windows Ltd. Was a different (and better) design to the original Nissan one, cost around £65 and was a doddle to fit. That was about two years ago, been perfect ever since.

    Thanks, I'll check that today.

    Courtesy light switch wanted

Does anyone have a drivers door courtesy light switch to suit a 1994 T2 that they would be willing to post to Spain (probably all the door switches are the same, but with the theatre light facility working from the drivers door only I thought that switch may be different). Payment for the switch...

Do you have problems with steamy windows?

Or move to Spain - a bit of 24 degree sunshine soon disperses the condensation!

Probably just means your hd is very fragmented.

    Not So Merry Christmas

Brand spanking new heated rear window fitted, dent sort of beaten/pulled out, well, sufficiently to fit the screen with a big dollop of sealant to bridge the not inconsequential gap, have to wait for some rain to see how effective the seal is. At least it didn't cost me a cent!
