    Need some T-Cut.

This is a proper forum, plenty of sympathy for the Terrano! :D I will reply properly later when I can get a beer and PC. :thumb2

    Corona virus

Opinions vary depending on what sources you believe. Terrorism when I was a kid involved men in black ski masks and bombs planted in public, these days it’s a lot different as there is little self preservation involved.

    Need some T-Cut.

X5 pushed me under an artic trailer on the M25. Pushed most of it out with the Porta Power and I’m still driving it but I need some parts.

    MG Metro

Made more power if run on the minimum oil level! My boss has a 1380 Healey Sprite running around 130hp, amazing little engines still being tuned. Jim, I might have a Mini Metro handbook and service book pack here somewhere in mint condition if he's interested. Early Metro's had a fuel cap seal...

    Corona virus

My youngest stepson is currently showing symptoms, also two others from his office one of whom is his boss he sits next to and the office is now shut. I am in no doubt this is a man made designer virus and let out deliberately, makes you wonder what else is hidden away around the world much less...

    Oil light

Cool markings on the cat. Run a temporary oil pressure gauge in so you can see what is really happening hot/cold and ignore the Nissan lights, it will give you a known standard to diagnose from and save to wasting time and money on having the sump off, oil etc to get back to where you are now...

    Oil light

You just can’t beat a mechanical gauge for reliability, it beats the sensors and “it’s too late” switches hands down. An oil temperature gauge is nice too. :thumbs

    Oil light

Is it muddy in the engine bay? A good steam clean and compressed air dry off, particularly in electrical connectors might help.

    Oil light

Could it be that something got wet and dirty in the river crossing and is possibly getting damp again changing the resistance?

    Oil light

Fit a mechanical gauge to test the oil pressure hot and cold then go from there to rule out the electrical side. If it really is that low then you may be looking at an engine rebuild.

    Would not believe it!!!!

That sounds like a mare of a day, how did you sort the brush spring? My day went downhill yesterday after lunch at the new job I have been in a week. Pressure washing the engine bay of a customers Cobra covered in bodyshop residue prior to fitting the new engine, I was asked to do the front and...

    Molten Metal.

It was all pie in the sky last year working the low paid job I was doing, I thought the Terrano would have to go at one point but now it can be a workhorse toy. A friend has a Discovery with a few modifications and we have talked about a bit of off road camping this year so once the Golf is a...

Our Roof is still on !!

Gusting to 60mph apparently here in Staines, my knackered old temporary garage is getting beaten about and the new 5.5m Carcoon is looking like a bouncy castle full of kids!

    Molten Metal.

A little update on this Golf, over Christmas I was given another almost identical Golf (albeit a 1.4) for spares. Yesterday I had a little time spare and both cars out in the open so I tried the meltdown cars coil packs in the running 1.4 and it would not start. Tried the working coil packs in...
