Hi all, Has anyone got a recommendation for a front mounted winch? i won't necessarily be using it for vehicle recovery but more for winching logs out of forestry (with the appropriate scavenging licence of course!!) Surrounded by 1000's of acres of tree's and it would be a shame to leave...

LOL, glad its not just me then! I was thinking i'd become a complete biff in my old age!! I tried the mole grip method but to no avail, i'll have a look once i get chance to see if there are any flats, hopefully there are but that'll mean i'll have to grind one of my spanners down, ah well...

Hi all, attempted to change the front drop links on my truck at the weekend. Ended up have to cut one of them off as the allen key wouldn't locate as it was full of corrosion etc etc. I'm ok with that but when i tried to fit the new ones (sourced from milners) there was no allen key slot, too...

oh goody......i so look forward to all that rusting that will have to be dealt with!!! No actually i am looking forward to getting my hands dirty again, been in an office job for the past 2 years and i'm getting RSI from a damn keyboard.
