I can't see why not, as long as you get the correct dash for your truck, it will fit and work. As long as you get a guarantee that the new one works, I can't see a problem.

The whole thing is a bloody scam. Put the duty on fuel, that way you pay as you drive and it will catch foreign drivers too. They have already done way with the tax disc, so get rid of the rest, very unfair tax.
