    brake fluid leak.

I had this on my old 2001 T2, but it happened just as we returned from a caravan holiday so was lucky to get home with brakes. As Rick says, it was the brake pipe and it had a hole in it.

    Heater. . . . .again

Once it's sorted, you should have a fine truck for a few years. Just took mine to the local dump with a kingsize bed inside and on the roof Not used the car for a while, but still smile at the power these trucks have. Put your foot down and it's away like a scolded cat :D

    Heater. . . . .again

It could be the pump, but would you not see the engine temp climbing higher than normal? You could try to back flush the heater matrix, it' possible that some rust or muck has been dislodged when you did the change.

Fully and spark but no go. Why is xtrail dead

That depends if it's an interference engine ie: if belt brakes, pistons and valve clash. Your sisters must have had a safe engine where this won't happen. :thumb2

    my son tom,s project car

The DVLA are getting much tighter on vehicle mods. I read Practical classics and they are worried at how deep the DVLA are looking to dig into a cars history. There is even talk about MG's that have had heritage shells, not being able to claim road tax exemption, although a heritage shell is...
