    TBH if that happened to me I would get the best price off the insurance company (I always reject their 1st couple of offers) & then buy it back off them for prob £500 the end result is you can have your motor fixed & some cash in your pocket:thumb2

    Like I said I can't remembers the members name but he managed to fit one up in the roof after making up a bracket & he even had a sunroof so it should be alot easier for you not having one if you do go that route:thumbs:thumbs

    Well the Nissan factory in Sunderland exports loads of cars to Japan:augie I know this due to some of my M8's do or used to work there plus a friend of ours was until last year one of the top guy's for Nissan europe. He even gets a brand new motor every year of his choise now that he's retired:eek:

    TBH not 100% sure but I think it could as the one on my old mondeo was stuck open & it drank petrol like mad. I don't have one but if my next motor does it'll be getting blocked off anyway as they can cause alsorts of probs

    Could also be a dieing MAF unit & a partly blocked mini filter if your has one fitted but seems that only a few of the later T2's had them mine was one:augie

    Flat Battery

    Sorry to hear this Jim:rolleyes:do you have a multi meter ? if you do I would start the T2 up & check that the alternator is putting into your battery, if it's reading 13.5 - 14.5 then it's putting enough charge into the battery:thumb2 tight starter motor:eek:never heard of that before:rolleyes:
