I was going to post this in "4x4 training" but that would just be mean...yesterday we had no pics of Makefits misfortune...and only a mean sonofabitch would get up at 7am and drive 15 miles back up into the forest to take photographs of his poor abandoned truck...so thats what I did :lol:lol

TBH it looks if it's just been parked up for the night:DI was expecting to see it wheel arch deep in boggy mud:rolleyes:

and you couldn't get another truck within sixty feet either side....winch you say?? Ah, thats another story...

Trust me Sweety, it was SERIOUSLY stuck - watching Extreme trying to operate a trolley jack that was completely underwater was a sight to behold...

Good to hear it's out of the bog safe and sound, it's this kind of thing that we all must dread.

LMAO - told you we wouldn't let you down, keeping us out til dark with just a bag of winegums to eat...:lol:lol:lol

Jim, as you can see from the pix, it was an old forest track cut by a Unimog or similar and never driven since then, probably 15-20 years ago judging by the age of the trees - but still managed to get three trucks this far - just a shame because I don't think anything without serious ground clearance (and I'm talking 12 inches plus) would have got through it all the way...we spent three hours or more trying to dig and pull it out to no avail....and wasn't there a lot of "wish I'd had a winch for Xmas"...

funny, thats what Extreme said... :D but then its all he had to eat!

i would have loved a jelly baby though:confused: honest i really fancied a jelly baby

yeah i remember you kept saying that - i just thought you were delerious.... :D
