    K & N filter

So far i've not had a prob with mine but it had covered around 10K when I bought it so it was'nt soaked in oil like a new one. When I fitted one to my old escort I plotted it with paper towel to remove the extra oil:augie

    turbo

Yes it's rather small but that means it spins up faster & gains full boost pressure & very little turbo lag (time it takes to get full boost)

    rear bumpers

The only diffence is that the MK3-4 have a clip on coloured cover where the MK1-2 don't & the whole mirror was painted but the base plates will be the same
  4. D

    rear bumpers

As far as I know they are the same, & it was just the front bumpers that got changed to a different shape. Paul has just fitted the later style lights (MK3-4) into his Mav (MK2 T2) with no probs:D

What are you trying to say Zippy:confused::confused:if the exhaust manifold is loose or leaking exhaust gas you'll know:augie:rolleyes:

    turbo

If you open the bonnet you it's on the N/S of the engine near the back, you'll see a black hose from the intercooler going down to the turbo which is mounted on the exhaust manifold:thumb2

    K & N filter

Is it the panel filter or the induction kit:augie

    i have an oil leek

Is it deff oil & not Derv as the spill way pipes are common to go & the Derv leaks down the o/s of the engine

    its hurts me

I feel for you Ern1e as I know it's your pride & joy (you can tell from the lovely shine on the paint work) I've got gouges under the rear bumber on the T2 where some prat has driven their car into & under the bumper

    oil getting through breather

Can I ask what age your T2 is ?

    oil getting through breather

It seems to becoming a common prob:augie There is an oil seperator tank at the front of the engine above the alternator which has a spring & diapham in it, these seem to become week so I priced a new one up fron Nissan & the price was unreal:eek:in the end I bought an oil catch tank & breather...

    georgegyo

I think it might be possiable to do but the cost may out weigh the price of the odd MAF unit:confused:Toolbox will prob be your man regaurding this

Ok can someone humour me and tell this idea is crap.

If it's just for light off roading ie you don't want to risk damaging your motor then i'd go the fibre glass route. Might go this way when I fit 31's depending on how far the tyres come out with either spacers or offset rims:augiethinking of using shogun arches (like the style of them)with a bit...
  19. D

Ok back to the tyre size questions

    33's fit no probs with a 3-4" body lift:augie
