On my T2 I changed both the short pipes that linked the intercooler to Turbo and inlet manifold with red Silicon ones (I like red!) and they are still ok after 6 years ( just not so shiny red anymore), so if you do need to still change it, you should be fine. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
