Shook on a Jeep grand Cherokee WK 05-10

Not in "My" Terrano!!! The Jeep was fantastic, it would be able to go absolutely anywhere, and with the gadgets and power, it would out perform the Terrano with ease... But... In my ones case, it does not have the ground clearance, and being a lot wider, does not like rutted routes, as it...

    Solar panel installation

We put 2 x 150w solar panels on the roof of the caravan, with a controller, and were getting up to 20 amps out of them on those very hot sunny days we had. This was enough to keep the caravan battery charged, with normal caravan use (which in our case is quite heavy), and also allow the Mobicool...

Hi, I am here... Tapatalk still checks the forum automatically, so shows you logging in every time you start the app, even when you do not actually view anything. My Grand Cherokee 3.0 CRD

Sorry I missed this reply. I have used Tiger seal a few times now, the first time was to reattach the front passenger side lower door trim to the T2. Since then, I have used it for all sorts, including attaching the Solar Panels to the top of the caravan. Oh and by the way, you can get it in...

    My Grand Cherokee 3.0 CRD

I spent 2 mins trying to work out what IFS stood for... I said out loud, "I wonder what IFS stands for"... My normally quiet and demure wife just came out with..... "I F**K Slowly!" Not sure where that came from! Anyway, (still in shock) my WK2 is both IFS and IRS. Mine is an early (first...

Jeep WJ 2.7 TD no start this morning why ??

Mine decided to throw me a curve ball over the sunny spell we had a few weeks back. About a month after getting her, I was sitting in very heavy traffic at the Dartford crossing, and a battery warning light came on. I was a bit puzzled as I have fitted volt meters to the two batteries, and both...

    Tools you have made

Great for cutting when there is a bit of room round where you are working, not so handy getting at the inner sill on a T2... :D I have to say, I am surprised you actually made a guard for it.. :lol

    New problem today

Can I just say, Brake cleaner on switches is not a good idea.. firstly it is often highly inflammable and switches usually arc when making and breaking contact. Also, it often attacks some of the plastics used in them. Much safer to use proper contact cleaner. Only use brake cleaner if you...

    Did someone mention treats??

You had me worried there for a minute.. That is an Old English Sheepdog fluffy pajama case we picked up from a charity shop for them, they love to get inside it and go to sleep. It makes it look like we have a real dog when it is full of sleeping snoring ferrets. Sent from my SM-G930F using...

    Did someone mention treats??

So there I am, sitting on the caravan sofa, and Snicker, our blind ferret asks really nicely for a treat. Without needing to get up, I reach up to the shelf over the front window and as quietly as I can get the treat box down. It's the sort with 4 plastic clips, one on each side that holds the...

    Replacement Air Induction Pipes ?

I think it was from AutoPerformanceOnLine on Ebay. I got quite a few bits for the snorkel as well, and pretty sure it all came from them. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

    Replacement Air Induction Pipes ?

On my T2 I changed both the short pipes that linked the intercooler to Turbo and inlet manifold with red Silicon ones (I like red!) and they are still ok after 6 years ( just not so shiny red anymore), so if you do need to still change it, you should be fine.
