    Pine Marten?

it's actualy in pretty good nick, and the evidence does seem to point to it being stone marten.

Thanks folks, all the evidence seems to be saying stone marten, but I sort of wanted it to be a pine marten - maybe i could dye his fur? :lol

    Pine Marten?

bear in mind this example is an antique and will have faded with age . . . best guess, out! like turning a water tap on, or opening a gas cylinder - screwing it out should let more fuel through :thumb2 but don't blame me if . . . :doh

    T2 - what next?

did i mention the 2800 kilo towing capacity? It's the same as a T2 and I have two trailers that gross at 2600k so a capacity of 2000k is no good to me :nenau

... and this is why I have a towing jaw!

This is one of the many drawbacks I find with the new Alko and Winterhoff caravan hitches, the need for a grease-less ball and an extended neck (Alko only) I have to keep changing flippping tow balls and jaws. Having said that with a detachable tow bar often you are stuck with just a ball at a...

    T2 - what next?

This is why I am leaning to wards a Hyundai Terracan, they are heavier than a T2 (2250k) have more power (162 bhp). A proper hi/low box and are built on a late Shogun chassis. Plus, they are a little more economical! The downside is that they stopped making hem in 2007 so probably only room for...

    OE tyres....

I have had those Duelers on a lot of different trucks, I don't like them at all! My Mrs used to refuse to drive on them as they have terrible grip in ice and snow! I have a stack of them here we use them to stand water tubs in for the horses. I think Ford got a $150 million dollar settlement...

    T2 - what next?

what's the turning circle like? every other crew-cab I have had it's been like a canal barge, hopeless if you want to reverse a big trailer round a tight corner, and the rear leg room hasn't been too clever either :nenau
