Hoping so, it is certainly turning heads and that's before they hear the OM642 burble. Was thinking how many firsts it is for us. First Jeep, first 200+bhp, first non L4 engine - well had V8 in RRC and my parents had an L6 wolsey 2200 for a while. First auto, well since I had an auto Maestro...

Good to see you back Clive, Forum was detecting your visits. Wanted to say thanks for encouragement, along with Ted and advise on getting a JGC. That said now with no Nissan for now something of an embarrassment as a mod here. Oh well, hopefully can still share knowledge and experience...

hope so, been watching youtubes of them on demo courses and in wild and think nearest would be terrano having a front lokka as well. like idea on road just put in drive and it sorts itself out, even with manual hubs the mrs has never been happy with 2 to 4wd, atleast having the lsd has given an...

Well, by this time tomorrow we'll have a monster of a JGC and for first time in almost 15 years no Nissan. Not saying never again to a Nissan, but just not for now. The Jeep reminds us of the Patrol in someways whilst usefully more compact. It's got a cracking drive train with the Mercedes...

    Banshee's Breaker 'aint a breaker!!!!!!!!

Well if it wasn't for the chassis issues on pathfinders would stay nissan. Could go patrol but still bigger than we need. Said to Mrs can see if ever have an issue would get another late terrano. Sadly its not the 3L that is issue indeed its great. Rot and other weaknesses showing their age...

    if when where, terrano replacement

those Freelander 2s are certainly chunkier than original design. Couple of caravan buddies tow with FL2s and know some of the 2.2 TDs give 192bhp, SD4 version I think. 87bhp per litre out of the box is pretty impressive. Mated to 6 speed auto, still no low box but should have hill descent. Tow...

    if when where, terrano replacement

like the 3.2 though, think makes 200bhp from 5 pot. believe they are being fitted in pairs to ex underground rail stock to use on non electrified rail lines so somebody has faith in the engine.

    if when where, terrano replacement

could look at crewcab. neighbour just got a 3.2 ranger and then added a cap for the bed. super boot created, be ideal for caravanning, something he does too. lower tax too as commercial. never really fell for navara, do like the vw amorak which looks massive, sure must be bigger than usual...
