those Freelander 2s are certainly chunkier than original design.

Couple of caravan buddies tow with FL2s and know some of the
2.2 TDs give 192bhp, SD4 version I think. 87bhp per litre out
of the box is pretty impressive. Mated to 6 speed auto, still no
low box but should have hill descent. Tow weight isn't quite
in Terrano league but is over 2000kg.

Also in lower tax band. Wouldn't mind one as second car that
could still do caravan as back up but still like a traditional
4x4 as prime mover.
 
Think you can get 4motion which I think is 4wd but more money.

I was just trying to look for a reasonable low mileage, air con and ideally dsg but have to see what’s available.
 
My Heart Is Stolen

My heart has been stolen today by VW Vans. Saw this super machine as well as a couple of others but one is a combi but a lot more money though I’m coming around to it. It has 150 horses under the bonnet too.

They have terrain response 2 too, very good :thumb2
