Noise from passenger side - ATP related?

Ooooh, thanks Rick. When you say rear, would the noise could come from front passenger side even if that's the case? When the light is flickering, it makes electric grinding sound noise with it.

Noise from passenger side - ATP related?

Hi Rick, this is about front differential oil change, right? One question on this assumption, if I continue to drive when this differential oil needs to be changed, would it damage the car in any way? I'd be thinking to bring the car back to the garage to get it done if I go for this which isn't...

Noise from passenger side - ATP related?

The noise still stays but I had little time to test. When the transfer shift is in neutral, the noise didn't occur, but as soon as I shift it to 4h, 4l, 2d - the noise came back. Now I've been researching what this could be and also make sure it doesn't harm anything if I continue to drive. In...

Noise from passenger side - ATP related?

Thank you all for your replies. What I did at the parking when I stared the engine when the ATP light was flickering is to change 2WD mode to 4WD, and change it back to 2WD, though I didn't go through N, or 4WD (either H or L - sorry can't remember) and it didn't change the noise and flickering...

Noise from passenger side - ATP related?

Hi, although my Terrano has passed MOT only last week, I've got a new issue. The noise. I would appreciate if you can advise me what this noise could be before taking any action. The noise is like putting a hardwire to the fan when it's spinning making intermittent some kind of hitting sound...

My Terrano Is Dead! Fortunately my wife is ok

    MOT passed!

Thank you!:D I was a bit worried about rust underneath as there are some small holes on rear inner cills which Rick told me it should be ok as Terrano's chassis is strong - so as he predicts! But I'm going to take care of rust underneath as it's slowing eating them.

    MOT passed!

Hi all, Just would like to share my joy that my Terrano has gone through MOT without failure!:augie Only one advisory for this year was rear tyres being worn which I already have been aware of. I've been relieved and for now I can celebrate. Will replace rear tyres in next week. I'm also...

    Yet another question regarding heater...

Yes, side vents are coming out without problem. Even if I set the dial to foot, it still blows. Ah, I haven't checked temp.....yes, I have checked the pollen filter about a month back. I'm not sure, it's really as if the foot vent is blocked..... Sounds great and I can't imagine when my...

    Yet another question regarding heater...

Yes, I checked vent at foot specifying the dial to foot, but didn't feel much aor coming out.... Oh, one thing, what if I put the air filter in a opposite way (thought you're supposed to put it for a certain way)? Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk

    Yet another question regarding heater...

I've got a question regarding heater. Although it does make some loud hiss sound (another issue), it works from both passenger/driver's side vents - I can get very warm air coming out. Then cool air comes out from the middle vents (I usually close these), for foot, even I set the dial to get...

Fitting rear view camera - earth point?

True, thanks for the link. At the moment power/video is tied just by tape on the way from rear side to the front, where I should thread each cable by using this kind of trunking tube...bookmarked!:thumb2

Fitting rear view camera - earth point?

Good to know as that was the point I tentatively put the cables to attach. Thank you for your advice - will try to put more properly them underneath as much as I can. I'd then take pictures to post ;)

Fitting rear view camera - earth point?

Thanks, Jim. Is this it? As for mirror adjusting switch, actually I didnt check if it still works afterwards. I will check tomorrow. I didn't take much pics apart from these today; It was a cold day to be outside! it's good to have a switch rather than relying only on the reverse light...
