get a better quote elsewhere then ask them to match it. Always worked for me. or contact Dan directly on here, Again worked in my favour.

Yep what elty said, It's possible they will do some smaller repairs elsewhere I guess. Councils are known to do repairs on areas that don't need it, last about 2 years and then will be worse then before.

Hot off the press, Nant-y-moch is closed until repairs completed sometime in 2018. :(

While I am not a fan of spacers that picture looks like they were running massive offset rims + spacer. The main problem with running standard offset rims with a spacer you can't check that the nuts on the spacer are tight when the rim is on. Steel rims with a choice of offsets are cheap...

The slot is there so you can unscrew a allen bolt to remove the rails
