mud terrain or all terrain for snow???

My T2 is the opposite, the speedo shows i am going 4 miles an hour slower than i actually am, according to my sat nav anyway. Till reading this i thought it was my sat nav that was wrong as i am running the standard tyre size.

How do you keep your undercarriage clean?

I dont know about that, the only shops i use in watford are B&Q, and sometimes tescos. Both just out side of the center, which i try to avoid.

    Nissan main dealer

That would be the final straw, as i have never had a vehicle fail an mot yet. That includes my old 15 year old vanette and my current 10 year old beast of a smiley transit, to my astonishment every time. I guess i have always been really lucky, and if it failed genuinely, i would be very...

How do you keep your undercarriage clean?

I only use the terrano at the weekends to go shooting (Hunter Field Target). Some weeks it will do only 5 miles, others 150 miles. So due to the fact it spends most of its time parked in the road outside the house, normally under trees where the birds use it for target practice of there own. I...

    Nissan main dealer

Hi all, I picked up the terrano last monday, they knocked £25 off the price and said they would do the next MOT (Jan) for £30. So on the whole, i am now very pleased. Thanks.

    Nissan main dealer

I had my terrano serviced at a Nissan main dealer the weekend before last. When i picked up the car i was told i had one torn CV boot and another was cracked and needed replacing also. He said the cost would be £186 each boot. so £372 in total. I said would he be able to knock any thing off the...

    interior lights prob

I will give it a go, As a kid, when anything broke i would take it apart and look for a simple visible fault that i may be able to repair. Always, i would have no clue at what i was meant to be looking at so would clean and reassemble, only to find it had started working again:lol Dont know...

    interior lights prob

Put the terrano in to a Nissan main dealer this morning for a level 3 service, and had this problem diagnosed while it was there. Apparently the below part (285519f905 control assy timer unit) is faulty...

    interior lights prob

Checked the light, the connection is made by a clip together connector and it looks as it should be, no damage.

When the light is set to doors, it is on, the same as if it was switched to on.

    interior lights prob

I tried them all with the switch towards the drivers side as this is what it states in the manual. And a couple in the opposite direction to be sure, with no joy. But the switches triggering the alarm makes me think it is not the switches. So i think it is the timer as you say. Anyone know...

    interior lights prob

Hi Jim, I removed each one individually with all other doors closed. Checked them visually and then held them pressed in my hand while locking the doors with the key fob. Kept them held pressed for one minute, and the light stayed on. I then released the switch with the doors still locked...

    interior lights prob

When my interior lights are set to door they stay on permanently. I thought the problem may have been one of the switches that the doors depress when closed, causing the lights to act as if a door was permanently open. But have checked them today and all appear to be fine. Is there some sort...

Which would be better 7" or 8"

Which would be better 7" or 8"

Have decided to buy some black steel wheels to clad in new yokohama geolander A/T-S G012 tyres. What is the best rim size for 235 wide tyres, 7" or 8". Apparently both will work, but would one be a better option than the other and why. The 8" are a little more expensive but not much, so would...
