    Closest metric size seems to be 265 85 15 which makes sense as slightly narrower than my 285s so he has a chance of them not rubbing to bad, I hope.

    I had the grill etc off as was fitting replacement headlamp washer pump so could see most of the cross bit, I will replace brake pipe as mentioned on mot and also the garage that lifted it said about a section on the back so better safe. Kind regards Russell.

    Had a look at my rad bit the other day, perfect no rust so that made me happy, however last mot mentioned corroded brake pipes so will get them replaced in summer and also need new front pads but will sort in july time for mot. Kind regards Russell.

    Buy a Patrol as suggested above live axles 35" tyres with nothing more than a 2" suspension lift and one of the best off roaders out there. Get the 4.2 and you can even run it on what ever yo u choose. Just please do not put bad bumpers on a Patrol. Kind regards Russell.

    Ian, Used 3 m12 nuts on mine, it is held on with 3 long m10 bolts so I put wound a small piece of masking tape on the bolts thread this allows you to put bolts in wheel with nuts on the back that do not fall off as you lift wheel then just lift on and tighten. Cost pennys Kind regards Russell.

    Alex, I use this website for tyre sizes as gives both imp and metric. http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp also the yokohamas I suggested are muds and I be;ive are better on and off road than kingpins. Kind regards Russell.
