you can replace the shims with washers, at least then they can not come loose and your A arm gets ripped out of the chassis rails when your 4wheelin :doh

I would have to agree with Rick. although as pointed out to me recently there are certain vehicles that are totally sealed so wont allow fluid changes. Have you got a service manual? pretty sure there would be an "fluid change" timetable ie at 20,000 mile intervals, or something to that...

Hi folks, is it possible to re-locate the Auto trans dipstick that stuffed down the back of the block and firewall. to me it seems like a copper extension pipe to the OE pipe and extend the dip stick to suit? Thoughts? cheers Dave
