Looking at a new cordless drill anyone here tried Milwaukee?

I recommended going to your local hire store and seeing what brands they have for hire in a a range of tools, the reason being is hire tools get used by all sorts of 200lb gorillas on site and you will find that the hire folk like the best return for their investment so they tend to choose hardy...

    Transmission fluid

I would have to agree with Rick. although as pointed out to me recently there are certain vehicles that are totally sealed so wont allow fluid changes. Have you got a service manual? pretty sure there would be an "fluid change" timetable ie at 20,000 mile intervals, or something to that...

    Limited Mileage on HP?

Jim, i have had the same thing with ford/mazda in NI, they had limited the mazda 6 mileage to 13,000 per year, 3 year repayment terms, when i questioned the reasoning behind mileage limits they told me until i paid the HP in full that they technically still own it. Apparently the nature of HP...

    Àuto Trans Dipstick

I do realise its overkill :lol and i understand the point of view. One of the beaches i go fishing has 13 river crossings all 1m high on a good day, and after the rivers i drive through at least two with brackish water lagoons and then down on to about 10 miles of soft volcanic sand, and that's...

    Àuto Trans Dipstick

I tend to check mine regularly, probably twice a month. I want to move it for ease of use. cheers yes its certainly a "nice to have" modification, i feel its a small task to bring more joy to servicing and preventative maintenance :thumb2 . Yes and Yes, its a pain in the ass. Like the idea...
