Been a while since i did much on the terrano. Bit of pre mot work when i can get the time off and the weather is on my side. Managed to repair the rear section of the passenger side sill.

Usually will start ok but when warm the coil of wire in the cps expands causing a break and causing running issues. The injector pump code could be a secondary fault caused by the crank sensor throwing out the fueling. Best thing to do is clear the codes,go for a drive and see what happens and...

1997 will be a tdi,1996 was when they went to an ecu controlled injector pump.

I know 47 is crankshaft position sensor 18 is fuel pump related and not sure on 143.

I put a full bottle in when i did the filter last week. I always fill the new filter up with it when putting a new one in.

Put me down as a maybe. Got the running issues to sort with the terrano and the mot is due the end of February so i will have to see how things progress :thumb2

I'm after the magneti marelli instrument cluster from a 2000 terrano as in the picture. Not bothered if the lcd works or not. Part number 24810-0x001.

Thanks for the offer Rick:thumb2 I have a spare set of good injectors that i can swap if needed. I'm leaning towards another electrical gremlin in the system.

Just a quick update on the issues iv'e been having with the terrano when cold. Did a full ATF flush yesterday and made no difference whatsoever to the stalling when put into R or D when engine is cold. Did the diagonostic self test on the autobox as per the manual and it's showing no faults...

Not always,had maf sensors go bad on a couple of terrano's over the years and never put the eml on or stored a code. I've done the diagnostics on the transmission and the engine and I've got no faults logged on either. I'm going to do a full transmission fluid flush using the internal pump on...
