Info required Will Swb wings fit a lwb terrano

LWB Mistral wings definitely fit on a SWB Terrano, so I would think so.

    January 2011 photo comp

A bit late, but it was in January. I had just discovered my camera will do clever things if you tell it to. This is straight out of the camera with no editing.

strangest thing you have seen being towed

We used to do some odd things And I'm glad to say I still do :) This is a pic of my friends caravan, towed by his horse and cart. This was in the sand dunes at Talacre, about 30 is miles from home. He pulled the caravan all the way there with his horse. Got some funny looks, can't think why...

    handy tool

Same as mine and is useful. Top tip, don't use stainless rivnuts, they are too hard and will knacker the pliers and dies. If you want rust free use ally instead. The steel ones are plated and last very well anyway.

strangest thing you have seen being towed

Loads of times. I think unless you know what it is you are not going to guess.

    Mot body knowledge????

Oh b*****ks! Not much hope for mine then as it has holes both sides. :( On a lighter note, I checked my MOT yesterday and it runs out two months later than I thought. :)

    Rip Off Fuel Stations

My lads Astra van does 50+mpg. He paid £350 for it, not many thousands. I do live in remote countryside and am a farmer so the 4x4 is very handy, but I could live without it. I managed without for 40 odd years. Besides all that, while out today I looked at the prices on Eso and BP garages (as in...

    Rip Off Fuel Stations

You can be as revolting as you like in your own household :D Looking at the news I seriously hope there isn't a revolution here. I agree fuel is very expensive and that a great deal of it is tax, but where else is the money going to come from? I suppose we could make all the services pay to use...

    Rip Off Fuel Stations

A bit hypocritical to have such things on a 4x4 forum. There are plenty of vehicles out there that will do 50mpg rather than the probable 25mpg average of a 4x4. (yes some do more, but some cars do more than 50mpg too) It would make much more sense if everyone went out and bought one of those...

This government didn't invent the congestion/Lev zone charges did they?

    buulbar/Rear light guards

I've never really understood light gaurds. Any time I have broken lights I would have had a knackered light gaurd too. You can get bullbars easy enough.

License Plate / Engine Number / Chassis Number...

Yep, readily available at £70 each. Correct font and size, reverse punched so the letters/numbers are raised as per original. Only "fault" is they look a bit new.

License Plate / Engine Number / Chassis Number...

You won't find my VIN on here, I changed one of the numbers :)

    wheel step

Must be a bumpy ride with one of those on the wheel. It will be a right pain making sure you stop in exactly the right place every time too.
